I am making a page to be framed for my friend who asked me to make her a page to give to her new roommates as a gift when they all move in together. I specifically like rub on’s but I would settle with any scrapbooking sticker that says anything about roommates. I want it to be sentimental. I can’t find anything online! All I see is stuff about friends.. any one know anyplace?? thanks

Make your own!!! Use different fonts and colors on your computer on different colors of paper. Then cut out and glue to your scrapbook pages or attach with double adhesive paper or tape.

all the women in my family love to scrapbook including me and all have good tips but i need more on decorating.

Take 4 pictures, one from each season. Write Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall or Autumn on each appropriately. Punch a hole and tie together with raffia or twine or cord and wrap around a twig, and hang in your house. You will have 2 pictures on the top and the other 2 pics right under those.
Or take a nice photo and put in a frame, but then add short wooden pegs for legs, and drill holes and attach handles, and you have a tray, for jewelry, etc or drinks.

I love to scrapbook and was wondering if anyone knows any good stores in the Maryland/DC area to get scrapbook supplies?? In particular I am trying to find gray alphabet stickers.

Not sure where to advertise. I make great tear bears (and other tear animals) and complete detailed layouts. I have a website set up but am unsure how to advertise. I’ve gotten orders locally from news paper ads and flyers but want to do it nationwide.

If it’s something that people want, they will find you via search engines, but you have to make it easy for them. You need to employ meta-tags and good text on your website so that people will find you whenever they google.

I found Google Adwords to be a good investment for a little while, but I was unhappy that they couldn’t send out an email in advance to tell you how much they would be taking out of your bank account each month – and also their accounting seems to be deliberately confusing. Still, it might be worth a try for you try them out just for a couple of months.

How about if you research the most popular scrapbooking message boards and buy an ad there as well? Also, if you participate in their conversations, you can have your website in your message signature.

Beware of craft storefront sites that encourage you to spam message boards and places like this because they’re too cheap to advertise.
